About Us

We are a Non-denominational Full Gospel Bible Based Church located in beautiful Long Valley, New Jersey. We are on top of Schooley's Mtn. next to Lebienzell Mission. You can access the Church from Schooley's Mtn. Road or Pleasant Grove Road

Vision

Our Vision is to be a Church that is teaching, living and walking in the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. We are building a Church where people are able to grow in their personal relationship with our Lord and Savior.

Mission

Our Mission is to be a witness to all mankind of Jesus Christ. We will teach God's Word through love and the Holy Spirit. We have faith in all of God's promises and want to be a place where God is able to heal, serve and teach the truth to those souls seeking His face.

Doctrine

Our Church is built upon the rock of Jesus Christ. We believe in the apostles' doctrine in Acts 2:42-43 that says, "And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul; and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. We believe in prayer, deliverance, healing, baptism of water and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues.

Our Pastor
Melvin Travis

Pastor Melvin answered the call to ministry in 1998. Since then he has been pastoring in the Long Valley community at River of Life Church. His ministry is to serve the Lord and tell His good news.

Pastor Melvin resides in Long Valley with his wife, Mariah, and children Ben and Marissa. Pastor has a true heart for Christ. He pastors with a servants heart, meeting all people where they are at. He loves to teach about the things of God and witness the joy that others receive as they grow in their understanding of what a relationship with God produces.

Pastor provides Individual, Marriage , Family & Youth Counseling.
